The side yard is progressing. The unhappy bush was transplanted from the middle of the mess of too closely planted bushes. Someone had tried to kill it by cutting it down but it regrew. I thought it was a small bush so hacked the roots with the pick and axe finding out that it was more tree like with a 4-5 inch stump with shoots growing from it. I'm not sure what it is but it seems to have survived the move.
